I have a DSL connection using a Westell versalink model 327W modem/router which has an ethernet cable running from this modem to a card on my desktop. I also have a laptop that accesses the internet wirelessly. My problem is that I can't print to the printer that is attached to my desktop PC from the laptop . I know that I have to do something networkwise (workgroups, shares, blah, blah blah) but no advice that I've found on the internet works. I'm not a network geek but I'm good at following clear instructions. Please help me! I would think that this would be a common issue that could be easily resolved, but it hasn't been. Do I need more hardware? Help would be much appreciated. I don't want to pay verizon for premium tech support!

This business of down-loading all the drivers and talking for hours to a Dell rep stinks. Can't we just pay someone to restore it to the original condition?
PS: I have never had so many troubles with my desktop systems.

Under my device manager, under other devices is a list of devices it doesnt recognize and i dont know how to fix them here is what it says they r called under device manager:

and I was wondering from your experience what would be a good one to download. I wasn't happy with Norton and I don't want to deal with it any more.

The error code that I got using "Windows Error Reporting" states that the problem is being caused by hardware.
Technical info: Stop 7F, 0x00000008 (double-fault) error occurs because of a single-bit error in the ESP register.
1. Does anyone know what this means?
2. Is this one of those things that will ultimately lead me to a solution that requires a purchase of some software I don't need?
3. Is this common?

i have only 2GB empty space in c drive [ total - 10GB] .but there is only 4GB of data in it .
i usually install all games and s/w in other drives .
but yet there is very few space in it !

I want to use an external video card to add an additional monitor. I also want to be able to play my PS2 on the monitor. Does any company make an external video card with additional tv tuner? I dont want to add an internal video card thats why i asked about an external one.

Probably been asked about a million gazillion times, but anyone not being able to access livejournal right now?

I can access any other pages on the web, just not livejournal. It's not forbidden or anything, just 'Failed to open page' - it failed to connect to server.
I'm using Safari on a Macbook, but just now have also tried accessing LJ using Opera and IE... any ideas?

1st of all, I need to know if my computer has an AGP x4 slot.

My computer Model Is:

eMachines W4685

Cause like I upgraded to Windows Vista Ultimate.

And Windows Vista Ultimate and Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV
Graphics Controller do NOT go good.

So if I have any AGP x4 slot, can someone give me a link to a Video Card ready for vista 256mb for about $70 from a trusted site other than ebay with shipping combined???

I dont want any ansers saying whats wrong with ebay.
