I have a DSL connection using a Westell versalink model 327W modem/router which has an ethernet cable running from this modem to a card on my desktop. I also have a laptop that accesses the internet wirelessly. My problem is that I can't print to the printer that is attached to my desktop PC from the laptop . I know that I have to do something networkwise (workgroups, shares, blah, blah blah) but no advice that I've found on the internet works. I'm not a network geek but I'm good at following clear instructions. Please help me! I would think that this would be a common issue that could be easily resolved, but it hasn't been. Do I need more hardware? Help would be much appreciated. I don't want to pay verizon for premium tech support!

You need a printer that is bluetooth capable, and a laptop that is as well. Then you have to buy a bluetooth transmitter for your laptop to talk to your printer... hope this helps.

I have a laptop and print documents from my desktop printer. All I did was disconnect the usb cable from the desktop and plugged it into the usb slots on my laptop. My laptop recognize the new device and I went through the wizard to install the printer on my laptop. From that moment on it was listed in the printer dialog box.

You will need to set up a "Home or Small Business" network and then share the printer to the network. Click Start>Control Panel>Network Setup Wizard. The wizard should walk you through the network setup.
