When an sbcglobal.net password is forgotten, I have to identify myself and type in a security code provided. When I type in what I think is the security code, it isn't accepted. How do I do this correctly?

Most passwords are indeed case-sensitive. Check the [Caps Lock] on your keyboard. Also, it's easy to confuse characters, especially if they are handwritten -- that is, what you thought might be an "i", is actually a "1" or an "L"; or a "Y" might be mistaken to be "4". Make sure you don't have an extra space entered before or after the password.

Lastly, if necessary, you can contact SBC Global's technical support, and ask them to reset your password.

either call tech support or go to their website and they should have a messenger where you can talk live and they can help you reset it
