Use an email address she doesn't know about. She could search for your email and find you

Don't use your real name, age or other personal info. They can search for your name

Keep your profile private. That way only friends can see it

Don't put a pic of yourself as your default. She could see in the friend list of people you know.

Use a display name that's not your real name or nickname

Don't add people that could tell your mom (like a friend or family member)

set it to private so only the people you have added as friends can see it
change your password periodicly
delete the history of your myspace links from the history folder
always use a link to myspace to get there so the address wont get saved into the address bar history

talk to your mom and tell her you want to keep track of your friends and let her know that she can monitor it and give her the password if she lets you do it. Talking to her about how you feel will pay off way better then if you go behind her back and do it. Maybe she will let you make an account and agree to let you on it when she is present to watch you. Sites like that are scary and people lie about their age and prey on kids you need to be careful about them. I have two daughter and I have their passwords and monitor their sites regularly.
