What about 192.168.0.1? 192.168.2.1?
Open the command prompt.
If you use Windows, go to Start -> Run, then type 'cmd'
If you use Linux, open a Terminal
If you use Mac, go to Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal
type in 'ipconfig' for Windows and 'ifconfig' for the other two, and see what the address says for 'default gateway' or 'gateway'. Usually the gateway is the router's address

The GL and the 110 both have 2x the RAM and flash memory of the G2, so the G2 is out. The GL is a linux based router and is easily compatible with various 3rd party firmware distributors. That's a big selling point for a lot of people. The 110 is Linksys' replacement for 54G series, but its hardware does not support current 3rd party firmware releases. If you're not planning to flash the firmware, then I'd go with the 110. I've been running a GL for a long time without issues, but I don't have any personal experience with the 110. The hardware specs are very comparable though.

The IP for the router may have been inadvertently changed by Windows. To check this go to the command prompt and type "ipconfig /all" without the quotes. (there is a space between the g and the /. This should bring up all of the IP addresses stored on your system, and tell you which is assigned to the router.

Are you trying to do it wirelessly? You need to have wireless access web enabled.
So, use a computer connected with an ethernet cable.
I notice a lot of you don't know anything about linksys routers. Why are you answering the question?

When yousay "it won't work" is that because it's not found? If so, try 192.168.0.1 or some of the other addresses. Or get a snooper to locate addresses in use.
If it's found but you can't get in, is that because you don't have the userid/password? If so, and you've forgotten it, you'll have to do a hard reset of the device. Warning though... doing a hard reset could restore all settings to the factory default.

Try pressing the RESET button -it's recessed just to the left of the EtherNet connection. Hold the button in for five seconds or more to set everything back to the factory default settings. Afterward, you can use the 192.168.1.1 address and leave the name field blank and type "admin" (without the quotes) for the password. Good luck!...

This is the Linksys default info, don't listen to the info from the poster above, it's wrong.
