Recentaly i got a gift, this computer that has 3gb of ram and geforce 7350Le graphics card. Will the graphics card support games coming out this year or maybe even earlier next year. Like say team fortress 2?

I have purchased an adaptor that links my laptop hard drive to my PC via USB. I need to recover data from this drive as my laptop is no longer working. When connected it displays all folders/files apart from my personal folder in the Documents and Settings section. It says 'Access is denied'. Would this be because I had a user name and password to log on to my laptop? Are there any ways of getting round this does anybody know? My laptop ran Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and I just set up a username and password myself in Control Panel.

I am not really good with Excel, I am just learning, so if anyone can help me that would be great. What I want to be able to do is a have a formula that will sum two cells (that I can do) but if the sum is a negative I want it to show as a Zero instead of a negative number (figured that out with an IF formula), but if the sum is greater than 0 I want it to show as the actual sum of the two cells(this I don't know how to do). Is there a way to do this?

Whenever i open some websites, eg: yahoo mail or any website, i can see a porn ad or poker ad.

I came to knw that this is a new google adsense trojan virus.

So it sometimes ( not always ) replaces the ads of that particular website with the porn ads or poker ads.

Its a new trojan it seems.

Did any one got this same trojan in your pcs?

Come forward to help me if and only if you have really got this trojan and cured ur pc to get rid of this.

Pls dnt reply ur imaginations :(

Till now it didnt do any harmful things but i am afraid that someone can trace my activities on the other end of the world.

So help me if you really can.

I will surely give the best answer if your solution really solves the problem in my pc.

I just installed Verizon DSL internet. It is working OK, but it seems to be blocking certain sites, most of which are secure sites, like ebay, myspace, Capitalone's credit card site, my webmail from Penn State etc. My old internet is still active, so I hooked that back up, and tried these sites, and they all work fine, so it has to be something with the Verizon service. I called their tech support, and we went tried a bunch of things, with no luck. They're saying it's something wrong with my computer! I doubt that since the sites work with my old service on this same computer! I've seen some other people on google having similar problems, but no solutions. Anyone have any ideas why only certain secure sites seem to be blocked? Some of these are kind of important sites for me!
BTW, it's Windows 98, so there is no firewall, and I don't subscribe to Verizons firewall, or extra security package. Thanx

i think its either down or i've been banned maybe.
i wrote a bulliten :
"that pisses me off about kess getting kicked off the show'
and said neelix, henry kim, or chakotay would've been better to get kicked off.
so is it down? because if i try to go to it it says my
connection has timed out. and if i have been banned is
there a way to trick them? can i go through a proxy server or something?

I was on the internet and my computer said someone was trying to hack onto my computer. That was two weeks ago and now it's still saying the same thing. I was using wireless internet, and now I'm in a different location with NO internet access. So my question is:

1: Could it still be the same person trying to hack it 2 weeks later???

2: Can you hack onto a computer that no longer has internet access?

I have heard that Dell hardware is kinda selective and is only compatible with other Dell Hardware. I want to start building my own computers, but think maybe buying a new Dell and adding to it piece by piece is a good place to start before I build one from scratch. Do you agree? And is it possible to add other-party hardware like a GeForce video card to a Dell machine? Thanks a lot.

The problem is that, after installing an AGP video card, it wasn't detected automatically by the system. I'll need to disable the integrated card in BIOS but I don't have a display to work with.
