Use a soft cloth (cotton or microfiber are good, paper towels are bad*) dampened with water, or a soft soap solution (liquid hand soap is good, dish detergent is bad**)

Make sure that any drips do not run down the screen and behind the bezel. Water and electronics do not mix well !

Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is the next choice if water does not work. Plain Windex is mainly water + isopropyl alcohol so you can use that if you do not have plain alcohol to hand. Do not use Windex that contains ammonia.

* The fibers in paper towels can be very abrasive and can finely scratch the surface of the screen. These can damage some screen anti-reflection treatments.

** Dish detergent contains salts, this is abrasive and can do damage like the paper towels, and can also leave residue behind, especially if you can not rinse the screen fully. - you can't run the screen under a tap like you would your plates.

Ok well when cleaning just remember to keep the t.v. turned off. Ok well you can dab a cloth into water, but just a bit. Then clean the screen with it. Or use the spray " Windex " its totally cheap. You can get it at walmart or any drug store. Hope this helps! Good luck!
