Why is that when I copy and paste the source (html codes) of a site (in this case, tsn.ca), save it as a file, and then open it in my web browser, it doesn't turn out right. Its just a white page that has none of the pictures on, the text isn't there, and its the wrong color. The only thing that comes up is all the links that were on that page.

When I'm downloading the data of a torrent, how do I know if my IP address is safe or not? Is it only the tracker that can detect my IP address? or can the seed find out too?

ok folks i'm having such a hard time figuring this out ...I bought a new pentium dual core ( not core 2 dual) model e2140 and installed it to my motherboard which is a gigabyte Ga-945gm-s2 i have 4 gigs of ram duel channel..and for some reason not that i have installed the dual core chip the computer freezes for like 8 minutes on the very first screen when you power it up.. and all i read is a few lines that say like intel... ga 945gm-s2 something like that... after 8 minutes or so the system boots and all is ok .. i mean windows runs awsome usuing win xp .. and no problem otherwise.. i can live with it but every day i turn my computer off and waiting 8-10 min is driving me nuts ..i tried updating the bios for my motherboard.. and vga cards ect but no luck can someone please help... warmest regards and thanks to all the amazing people out there...help me solve this i will give you 4 stars and write a nice letter ... again thanks for your help ...

Everytime i do a search i'm referred to the website for results, with most coming back as nothing found. It all seems pretty corporate, with price listings coming back with the results that i have had.


And people say this is better than P2P's?

I'm trying to make a form on a Java Applet, however I'm finding it very difficult to get the text labels and corresponding textboxes to align themselves one per line. GridLayout is what I need to use (I think) but when I use that, it adjusts my textbox components to fill the entire region of their alloted Grid cell -- not what I want. There must be an easy way to make a simple form on an Applet? Any help appreciated.

I understand that if I add RSS buttons to my site, people who visit my site can subscribe to the RSS and read it in their reader - But, how do people find out about my feeds without knowing about my site first.... Where do I submit my feeds so people can find it by typing in keywords about topics they are interested in?

I want to use the RSS to promote my site and content for those who don't know about my site in the first place.

I believe Yahoo and Google have pages to submit my RSS feeds to so people can access them through their MyYahoo or iGoogle, but are there others - and how do people find it with keywords?

I have Comcast Cable Internet and have been renting a "wired" router for $3 a month. It is a Scientific Atlanta DPC2100. I want to buy a router (not wireless). Comcast has a list of approved modems but the list is mind boggling long...

I want to buy a hard drive but instead of installing an internal hard drive i just want to use an external one. can i use an external hardrive as my primary master?

is it possible...please..i have my wireless router downstairs and its connected to the computer with out a wireless card. and my other 2 computers are upstairs and they both have wireless cards but the wireless signal wont go that far....and i cant move the wireless router so i need to add another router upstairs....is there a way to connect the two routers???...
