the place on my laptop where i plug the power cord in seems to be messed up.... it won't hold the cord steady, so the icon on the screen is always switching from battery to ac power. we bought another power cord recently but it is still not holding properly. we were told that if the problem persisted, it would be something inside the computer that needed to be repaired. i'm going to have it fixed soon, but first i would like to know if anyone can give me an estimate of what it should cost... the computer is 2 years old. also, if for some reason i can't have it fixed right now, are there any potential safety hazards? thanks.

I am unhappy with my current host and would like to move to another host.

I purchased my domain name through them when I took up there hosting plan, and would like to keep it but dont know how to when moving to a different host.

I cant seem to find the place that allows me to point the domain to a different server.

Can someone please help

I have Wifi Provided By my Apartment complex. But I want to network my two computers using ethernet. But I can only seem to be able to connect to one network at a time. Is it possible to have WiFi internet and an ethernet network at the same time?

I live in a rural area (between Inglis and Dunnellon, Florida), with at&t fastaccess DSL. Ever since, starcraft multiplayer has been lagging. I checked my network connections, and it says my modem is 100mbps, and it sends 160,000 packets, and recieves 152,000 packets. I turned off my firewall, it didn't seem to help. Is this normal, or is there some way to fix it?

Whenever I click on the iTunes icon, a message pops up and says that iTunes encountered a problem and needs to close. It asks me to "send" or "don't send" report. Obviously, I pressed don't send because it is not a Microsoft issue. How can I solve this problem and be able to access again? My only option now is to restore it, what are my other options?

I can't seem to get my web pages to open up as they did before. Normally they open up in tabs one beside the other across without opening a new window or page. Now all of a sudden they are filling up my screen with new page after page with each new site opened how do i get this to stop. Have tried using internet settings but didn't fix the problem.

I downloaded the IE7 from yahoo and it literally ****** my computer,so i uninstalled it and it is still messed up and im using firefox but, the internet explorer opens and uses 99% of the cpu freezing it unless i get in task manager and end the process really fast can i completely delete IE. i tried but it says its in use im desperate please help
