I like the fact that PCWorld recommends it (for NT and98 although Microsoft no longer supports it for anything), that it creates an " undo.reg" file, and that it cleans up the registry a bit. Is there another free program that does these things and more that is recommended for XPSP2? I am not very knowledgeable about the registry, but I know to be super careful about changing things. How do I back up the registry....preferably free programs?

Hi,

I just bought a new website and am changing from the old owner's server to mine. His was based in Linux, and the company I am with are in Windows.

The site is PHP and has mySQL databases. It seems as though there are some directories that can't be accessed etc...

Is there an easy solution for this change? If not, where would I get someone to do the change, and how much would it cost.

I installed active directory on Windows server 2003 Standard, and created a domain user on the server, then (after much trouble) i was able to logon as the user. The problem is, as the user, i can't view/open any type of document or archive. I either get an 'Access is denied' error or gibberish appears on the screen. What can i do?

I go to the BIOS on my HP pavilion ze2000 laptop (with a pheonix thingy) and i look and look and cant find anything that says "load optimized defaults, I also dont see load fail safe where do i go to do this PLEASE?????

Hello..
I just bought a new computer that has XP.. 256 megs ram.. 64 megs (shared) video ram.. I understand that I need more memory to get a long.. But sometimes.. (Mostly using games, But not always) I'll get a low virtual memory message.. E-Machines has the virtual memory set at..
Initial Size.. 336
Maximum Size.. 672

Should I change this to "System Managed Sized"?
Anyone with a E-Machine that has done this?

I have dsl, I just put cp on my pc, now every 10 minutes my internet
disconnects for a second, in my internet properties it says something about a lease star t and expiration, it disconnects in time to these 2 settings can anyone help?

I got a new laptop and the screen is 17 inches but I

I have a Dell laptop. We took it to best buy, thinking the charger was broke which was why it wouldnt turn on. I found out though, that its not the charger. The guy took a new battery and put it in, and the "dash lights" (like the lights on he dashboard of a car, the lights at the top of the laptop near the screen.) THose came on, i know nothing about computers, does anyone maybe have SOME sort og idea of what might be wrong?

The page with verrifying your password keeps loading after each enter I hit. (of course I type my password correctly) and that keeps happening more than 3 times in a row.
