Go to your ISP's home page, there should be details of how to configure your email to receive it via Outlook....all ISP's give details. Good luck.

PS Shame you didn't give your ISP details as I would have helped you to find the details. :-)

Inside your e-mail box "HELP" on the web there will be instructions for "how to set up your POP3 client" (that's what Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express are) if that option is available for your particular sort of e-mail account. Some e-mail providers don't allow POP3 access.

I use Outlook for Hotmail, Gmail, Hotpop and my ISP's mail. But Yahoo won't give me POP3 access - have to use Firefox for that one.

Once you've followed those instructions Microsoft Outlook will usually check your e-mail every time you open it (Outlook) up, and from then on, every 10 minutes unless you change it.

If you want to check sooner than that there is "SEND/RECEIVE" button on the toolbar at the top, press that and it'll check your e-mail.
