I got a new laptop and the screen is 17 inches but I
don't know want size wallpaper would fit it.. I always try resizing
wallpapers and stuff but I never get the size right and it comes
out stretched and ugly.. Anyone know what size will fit my screen?

Right-click on your desktop (not on an icon) and choose 'properties'. Go to the 'Settings' tab and you will see the exact pixel size of your screen (mine is 17" and I have it set to 1440x900 (highest resolution available for me). So that is the precise size I would create my wallpaper.

Check your resolution, then find a wallpaper that is made for that resolution.

in case your laptop history place option is 'stretch' the wall paper is stretched to fill the reveal screen. in case you do no longer decide for that the two get wall paper that fits your reveal length or replace the placement option to middle.
