I was on my internet browsing as usual when all of a sudden Norton Antivirus pops up and say that I had an attempted intruder. However, it was blocked.Nevertheless, I found this person's IP. Where can I go to on the internet to out some information about this person who is attempting to intrude on my computer?

Also, when I was getting on my computer, it prompted me for my password, before I could sign in it said the something about the same user on this network. I am confused!!!

My daughter has got on computer and now I have an unwanted blinking icon in the lower righthand screen, by the time/clock. When clicked on it is something about virusburst. What I need to know is how to uninstall this. Would someone please help? I'm not real computer smart, but I can follow directions.

Suppose I have a Windows 2003 server as named as DRAGON as also act as Domain Controller. DNS server is installed in DRAGON (IP is 192.168.77.12). The domain name is ETERNALDOMAIN. Due to recently power outrage occured twice, the zone file (eternaldomain.com.dns) was corrupted. The DNS server could not be started due the file corruption. I, then fix the file corruption (CHKDSK) and replace zone file from the backup copy. As I replaced the corrupted file from backup, the DNS seems works OK.

However, I have experiencing numerous errors and warning from Event Viewer after I reboot the server. Before the the power outrage, there are no errors found from Event Viewer.

When I run NETDIAG, it reports as
:
DNS test......... Passed
[Warning] Cannot find primary authoritative DNS server from the name 'dragon.eternaldomain.com' [ERROR_TIMEOUT]
The name 'dragon.eternaldomain.com' may not be registered in DNS PASS - All the DNS entries for DC are registered on DNS server '

I get it all - multiple times per day. Not in any particular program, but in all of them...Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Browser, Adobe Illustrator - all of them.

Blue screen messages about fatal exception errors. The message says to hit any key and all will be well. (: But when I do, nothing happens. Stays there. I try CTRl/ALT/DEL - unable to open task manager to end task or shut down. Have to do a hard shut down and restart PC. This will happen 3-4 times a day.

Then, there are little windows that pop up telling me I don't have the system resources or memory is too low to do certain things. Like when I try to open another window, print or save a file.

As if this isn't miserable enough, I will be working in a program and the dreaded gray window pops up telling me the operation failed and must be shut down. Happens until I restart my PC.

I'm at a loss - no idea what's going on. Any suggestions??

I went in there today and was wandering around looking for the ink cartridges which I found, but not easily. Then I am looking at the different varieties, not sure what to get. Finally, I find the one I want but decide that the price was too high. So as I'm leaving I see a bunch of workers hanging out in front chatting away. There were few customers and wouldn't you think they would make sure to assist people that look like they need help? This has happened everytime I have gone in the store which is just a few times. I'm finally giving up on them!!

I have a dvd camcorder, and when I put it on my computer, I can watch all of it, but when I convert it into a format I can edit in moviemaker, I only get about 1/5th of what I recorded. This has happened with a bunch of different videos. I;ve tried several different converters, so I know thats not the problem, and obviously all the information is there because I can watch it before I convert it. And I've already tried stringing all the vob files together...Help!

we can download limewire to our PC and we can install it. But, for some reason we cannot run it. The icons and evrything are there but whenever we click on it or try to open it some other way the little hourglass appears for a second and then disappears. We've waited up to 20 minutes for it to open but it never does. What gives?
