If you will do it with out extra software Follow these instructions:

MAKE SURE YOUR DRIVE CAN BURN CDS

Also these steps are intended for Windows XP Home Edition/XP Professional/XP Media Center.

Also another thing: If you use a CD-R you can't burn or use it again. If you use a CD-RW you can reuse the disk (you can still add files and delete files.) Same thing goes for DVD-R and DVD-RW Disks

1. Insert Disk into Drive
2. If a window shows up asking what to do just exit out of it.
3. Go to My Computer
4.Double Click on the CD Drive
5. At the top in a drop down menu there is a choice of: Write These files to CD.
6. Follow the on screen instructions.

IF your school has the same program you use (Such as: Microsoft Word 2003) it will work on the school computers.

ooohhh that's bad....

What you want to do is to make sure your computer has the burning capabilities or else you can't burn onto a CD.

if you have a CD burning program use it..... if you don't know how to run it then see below::

>>On most computers these days there is a autoplay thing which runs and would detect the blank CD and ask if you want to "use [Burning software] to burn a CD" or "Open a writable CD folder (using Windows Explorer)" or other stuff you do not want to get into
>>select an option. if you had a program then follow what the screen asks for and stuff but if you went with the "writable CD folder":
>>copy and paste or click and drag your document into this writable folder
>> on the side there should be the option to "Write these files to CD" click there, if not, click "File" then "Write these files to CD"...
>> follow the wizard and then burn

if you don't get this autoplay thing then your gonna have to get there yourself
>> go to My Computer, if you don't know how then ......
>> double click on your CD drive icon this opens up the CD Drive folder thing
>> click and drag or copy and paste your doc into here
>> on the side there should be the option to "Write these files to CD" click there, if not, click "File" then "Write these files to CD"...
>> follow the wizard and then burn

if your still not getting anywhere then .... I dunno

You need to save the document onto the computer first and use a burning software to get it on the CD, most computers wont direct write a CD.

step 1: stick the cd into the cd player of your computer.
step 2: the available program to burn the cd will start automatically.
step 3: if step 2 fails, it means you don't have capability to burn cds in your computer. you have a problem.

i dont know how to run that stuff but i usually email something to an alternate adress of mine and print it when i need it. make sure you still keep it saved on your comuter in case the email didnt go through. and it cant hurt to email it two or three times and even to more then one adress. you are bound to get it somewhere.

oh and i would write down your password to your emails on the back of your hand just before you go to leave:P i can just imagine how it would be to get nervous and hope it works and then forget your password. and if you write it on a piece of paper it might fall out of your pocket. :P use a good pen on the PALM of your hand and dont use the restroom or touch anything wet till you get that thing printed!

good luck

do you have a floppy disk? you can save it to those too i think. or just email it to yourself then get to school early and get on your email on a computer and print it out. or run somewhere and buy some computer paper

Why not just email it to yourself and print it out when you get to school in the a.m.?
