I was on my internet browsing as usual when all of a sudden Norton Antivirus pops up and say that I had an attempted intruder. However, it was blocked.Nevertheless, I found this person's IP. Where can I go to on the internet to out some information about this person who is attempting to intrude on my computer?

Also, when I was getting on my computer, it prompted me for my password, before I could sign in it said the something about the same user on this network. I am confused!!!

Use a Who-is like in the Source list below to get a general ID on the IP address but that will get you only so close. On the website of your Internet service provider should be a page for reporting hacker attempts. My suggestion would be to get a Firewall to place between your machine and the Internet connection. Be sure to read all of the information that comes with it and make all of the recommended security settings.

This person already has your password and is already inside your internet account. I would call your service provider and inform them that you want to change your account information. Depending on what kind of infomation that you have when your logging into your accounts, you might want to call all three of the credit agencies equifax, transunion, and experian and let them know that someone has your account infomation. You should also call whatever your accounts that you have and let them know that someone has access to your personal infomation and would like to set some kind of security measure with them. If possible, change account numbers. That person's IP address may help, but then again, he could be using someone elses connnection as well.
