I can't reset the region until I log in. I can't log in becuase the computor that has an american keyboard is all sey up in Japanese. I need a map of where the computor thinks the english letters are.

Hi-My computer was struck by lightning. The CD-R, Memory, and Hard drive all still work because I tried them in another computer. (I have now put them back into the one that was hit by lightning)

When I plug in the computer and try to turn it on, nothing happens. Is there a relatively easy (and inexpensive) way to fix the problem. What would I have to buy? A whole new motherboard? Is there any way I could just buy a new power supply in the CPU. I know this isn't alot to go by, but any help will be appreciated.

I have JASC Paintshop Pro, version 8, and when I select the paint brush tool, there is no drop down menu with "normal, lighten, darken, overlay, color, hue, etc..." The whole bar of those options have disapeared. Does anyone know how to get it back?

In Windows XP if you press ctrl+alt+delete it brings up an option window and one of the options is to lock your computer so that no one else can get into it unless they know the password. My computer at work is a 98 and I was wondering if there was anyway I can lock it so that no one can see all my confidentiality stuff. Being in Human Resourses I really need to figure out something simple to do for when I leave my desk. Is there any way to do this?

I put a new SATA hard disk and computer won´t start. My power supply is 420W and I have connected a DVD-ROM and a CD-ROM and an IDE hard drive. So, I think that there should be enough power supplied by the power supply. Disconnecting power to the SATA drive and computer starts beautifully.

I am somewhat new to photoshop. I create flyers and other things for print for my church... When I create a file, I create it at a resolution of 300 pixels/inch (because it's for print), and I will put the dimensions at something like 5 x 7 inches, and it turns out to be HUGE, and the printer won't take it. So when I try to resize it, all of my fonts go very small, one went from a size 12 font to a size 3.5. It looks like a normal size on the screen, but when I send it out will it be too small (the dimensions say something like 1 x 2 inches)... I guess I just want to know how to get it at 300 resolution, and not have to make the file and fonts so small?

I need to finish a project that I started in school that was written on Word 2003. I'm going to take the project home and finish it on my computer that has 2000, but I think it won't work because I think that the features on 2003 aren't the same as 2000. Thank you.
