My computer has a drive that is called DVD-RW Drive (D:). Am I still able to burn music CD's although its called a DVD-RW drive? Whenever I put a blank CD-R in the drive, the computer tells me to insert a cd into the drive although there is one already in it. I wanna burn a CD, not a DVD. What is going on? This computer is a DELL.

I have AVG,ewido,AdAware and ZoneAlarm(all free versions) in my PC. I keep them updated and scan my computer everyday. Still, my PC is unexpectedly slow(256 MB , 2.40 Ghz). Is it normal or is there some virus or malware lurking in there?My Mozilla Firefox was disabled automatically without any reason today. PLZ help.

I have been trying to burn cd's for quite sometime now. I have a "playlist" That is dowloaded from bearshare. When I go to burn the cd every song says it can not me downloaded. The CD is blank! It says an "error has accured" I click for details and it says nothing that I can understand! please I really want to burn Cd's!!!!!

Is there anyway to get into a computer? What I mean....You see on TV all the time that crime labs can examine a computer and know everything that went on inside of that machine, even if the user thought he deleted things, cleared history, etc. I'm pretty sure that's real and not sci-fiction...lol!
