I want to enter some pictures into the Puppy Calendar Contest and one of the rules is "Please do not submit computer-generated printouts". Are they talking about regular laser-jet prints of raw photos or are they talking about touched up/made up/faked pictures that Photoshop can do?

Who uses film now anyway? Thanks for your answers.

From my understanding as long as computers are connected to a network you can share resourses. Let me tell you what I know about the network.

All of the computers in the building run to a switch. .... and that is about all I know about the physcal topology of the network.

I ran ipconfig on both computers mine is 10.20.181.233 with a subnet mask of 255.255.252.0. His computers ip is 10.20.182.23 with the same subnet mask. I tried to even just ping his ip and it timed out. default gateway is 10.20.180.1

We both are running Windows XP.

I would also like to use the network to play games.

I am not looking for step by step as much as resources.

Yeah. I'm asking the question. Leaving some brief, unrelated answer to anyone's more serious questions, just to gain points is sad, in my opinion...

Liberals know they've got it right and non-liberals know they've got it right ... will the day ever come when a computer can prove to the satisfaction of all who actually has got it right?

Where can I change the way the default SNMP address is set up when a user is created in Microsoft Exchange 2003? I want to change the default. Currently it concatinates first name and last initial at domian name. I want the default to be first name dot last name at domain name when I create a new user. Example: gary.greer@domain.org rather than garyg@domain.org

Hey guys, thanks for your time. What happened her is that I used to have a computer where, on start-up, it gave me 5 seconds to decide whether to boot to linux or to windows xp pro. Well, just a couple weeks ago, the partition for windows xp became corrupt, so I had to reformat it and install windows xp fresh. So now when I boot up the computer, instead of a screen for me to decide which operating system to load, I get a blinking curser in the top left corner for 5 seconds. I know that linux partition is still on there, but how do I access it? Better yet, how do I return the startup to its original state?
