I ask myself that same question every time I log on. I don't know why I continue to answer questions, and vote for others, knowing that nothing will ever come from it. But getting that email that mine has been voted best answer honestly brightens my day. Wow, now I feel like a loser.

I usually give a good answer to questions that are phrased with even a smidgeon of intelligence. I try not to complain about spelling too much, as I know that not everyone on here was a spelling bee champ at their school. But, sometimes, you just come across those questions that make you scratch your head and go "huh?". Those are the ones that I might be a little snarky with my answer, and only answer the question to get the points.

I don't answer questions merely for points or to gain levels. I do actually try to find questions that have a purpose and then answer those. But I guess by answering this question I've already broken my own rule.

I go through a lot of questions every day in Yahoo Answers, just to see if I can help another person in need. I don't do it for 'points', as I'm sure many people do. Since it doesn't get you anywhere but self satisfaction, why do it? HELPING!

I do it because its fun .I was on 5 chat rooms and just wanted to talk but most of them got smart so I dumped them all and changed my Email name.I see why these teenagers get in trouble on the enternet. Some of the questions are dumb on here but I dont bother with them. They have a right to be on here as long as it isnt too bad.Signed,FreeLittleLillie
