I want to move one of my photos to be my background image and I am so totally dumb today ( plus a wee bit Friday drunk!) that I just can't figure it out! Help Me!!!

I assume you have Windows XP or at least another version of Windows.

Here is what to do:
- Right-click on an empty spot of your desktop (the location where your icons are)
- choose properties
- Select the 2nd tab above next to "Themes", which should be "Desktop". Here you can select a background image.
- Click "Browse" and seek the image
- Click "Open"
- Now click "Apply"
- Click "OK" and the screen will close.

Open the photo in Windows own image viewer, then right-click on the image and select "Set as Desktop Background",

If that doen't work, what o/s and photo apps are you using?

I had the same problem but then somehow I found out I was doing it the wrong way!
You right-click the image/photo and the click Set As Desktop Backround...

Right click the photograph and choose the 'Set as Desktop Background' or 'Set As Wallpaper', whichever one of those is on there. Good Luck! xxx

I right click on the picture , then under options left click on set as background

1) Right click on the desktop.
2) Click 'Properties'.
3) Choose 'Desktop' and click 'Browse'.
4) Find your picture.
5) Choose 'Stretch' under Position, and click OK.
