For some reason I receive scam e-mails from the UK on my AOL address from YAHOO addresses.

Consider using the SPAM button to help block these.

If the SCAM does not say that they represent Yahoo, then Yahoo won't do anything. If the SCAM does not say that they represent AOL, then AOL won't do anything about it.

But let's say that the SCAM represents a specific bank, such as MBNA. With that, I would FORWARD the e-mail to that company. You would have to find their website, then look for their security section with instructions on how to report this activity.

I will tell you that your complaints will not fall on deaf ears. I receive alot of financial scams from Nigeria an everyone of them had legal action taken against them. Their account was shut down.

If you know for sure that it is an Yahoo account you must return the complete email with a "full header", "forward", via "inline text", back to abuse@yahoo.com --I have "Interpol" contacts all over the world an I send them the email with the full header and they always go after the person.

Yahoo will advise you that action has been taken to terminate the account. They will not go into detail as it is against the law.

If you don't know how to show the "full header", open "options" near the right hand top of your emal and look for mail and check off full header.

Yahoo has even sent my full header emails to yahoo uk, yahoo, france, etc. etc. and legal action has always been taken.

Pls. excuse my english. French is my primary language

The 'From:' address is virtually always spoofed so there's no way to tell that it came from Yahoo or even the UK. You need to examine the headers and look for the IP address of the machine that relayed the mail to Yahoo. Then locate the owner of that IP space and file a complaint with their abuse department.

For the most part it's best to just delete them. Most complaints fall on deaf ears.

This one is gonna be troublesome once you talk approximately that Yahoo! can no longer legaly learn that individual's emails. notwithstanding, on the Yahoo! Mail significant internet site on the optimal appropriate corner there's a help hyperlink. next to the hyperlink there's a down arrow, click on on the arrow and a menu will drop, on that menu cick on the 'touch us' option. There you are going to find alternatives on techniques to checklist this 'abuse'.
