I wonder why so many people ask questions that could easily be answered by going to Yahoo online dictionary or Wikipedia or just typing a key word into any good search engine.

Need to locate the cookie file. Most likely need to delete some cookies. Also, what setting is advisible - first party or 2nd party, or 3rd party. It may be everyone's partying on my laptop!
Also, where is the cache file and list, may have the same disgusting stuff there too!

I have a Soyo PX400 Lite. The manual says I have the option to change the multiplier, but I don't (it's 12x). I can raise the CPU core speed by 1 MHz, but I can't even break 2 GHz before the computer refuses to boot. I've tried playing around with the memory. Any tips?

I need to find the BEST program for spy ware and pop-ups.
I’m no dummy when it comes to stuff like this,
I got rid of about 5 + viruses this weekend and a bunch
Of other crap. I went through and check and cleaned
The windows XP registry and some other deep files.
Got 99% of them but there is something in my system
That I can’t seem to find. I ran some on-line scans
I’m using Norton Antivirus Corporate Ed., Ewido anti-spy ware, and
Adaware. But every 15-30min I get pop ups from the following
Sites: search-everything.com , 8.zapmeta.com, worlddatinghere.com, and www.winantivirus.com/pages/scanner.
This is just a few of about 20 or so different ones that I get.
So I’m calling out to the best of the best. Please give me a hand
On getting rid of these. I don’t surf porn sites or anything of the sort.
It’s not cool when my 10 year old daughter is watching me on the
Computer and crap like this pops up. Thanks soo much for the help.

i have used my desktop computer rarely. last time i used was about a month ago, i burned some cds and turned it off. now i hooked it back up again and when i boot up it goes to a black screen that says "Reboot and select proper boot device. Insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key."

anybody know the problem and how to fix it?

I have Verizon DSL
with a westell modem
to see my properies, i type in a number in ip form in my browser, and i see connection summery and stuff. Their i see 3 ip's
PPP
Primary DNS
Secondary DNS
--
if i go to command prompt and type in ipconfig i see
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Default Gateway

the PPP is the same that sites like whatismyip.org provide

the ip adress in command prompt is what programs like vnc show

can you explain all of these

by the way, none of the ips in the modem config and command prompt match up

One of my friends recently pointed out a girl's profile, and she stole the majority of my pictures and she's passing them off as her own. It's irritating! Plust she's making me...uh or her, out to be a gothic/bisexual/Athiest, what the??

I'm trying to print thru a crystal report object, which calls data from an access db, and then clear the database after its done. the problem i have is that before the crystal report object can load and print, the lines of code that execute the clear are implemented and so when the report prints it's blank.
what can i do to fix this issue?
heres the process:
1) insert into db
2) load crystal report
3) print from crystal report (via destination printer)
4) clear database ( via rs.delete)

I had figured out how to get the prompt to stop coming up in the past, but apparently updating my video card drivers got rid of that, as now every time I change my resolution Windows asks me if I want to keep the settings, and gives 15 seconds before it automatically changed back to the prior settings. Given that I change my resolution every time I watch any videos(S-Video out to my TV), it gets pretty annoying.. I'm sure a solution is out there, since I had it configured the way I want it before.. thanks :)
