I need to find the BEST program for spy ware and pop-ups.
I’m no dummy when it comes to stuff like this,
I got rid of about 5 + viruses this weekend and a bunch
Of other crap. I went through and check and cleaned
The windows XP registry and some other deep files.
Got 99% of them but there is something in my system
That I can’t seem to find. I ran some on-line scans
I’m using Norton Antivirus Corporate Ed., Ewido anti-spy ware, and
Adaware. But every 15-30min I get pop ups from the following
Sites: search-everything.com , 8.zapmeta.com, worlddatinghere.com, and www.winantivirus.com/pages/scanner.
This is just a few of about 20 or so different ones that I get.
So I’m calling out to the best of the best. Please give me a hand
On getting rid of these. I don’t surf porn sites or anything of the sort.
It’s not cool when my 10 year old daughter is watching me on the
Computer and crap like this pops up. Thanks soo much for the help.

ok first, norton is the biggest piece of garbage out there. it being the most popular antivirus product in the market, its the one virus creators target the most. dont waste your money, there are nasty things out there made specifically to circumvent it.
sounds like you may be infected with some nasty rookits
try hijackthis!

it looks for stuff that other spyware programs miss. you used adaware, one of the best antispyware programs out there, have you tried spybot s&d?

if you are getting these bad popups, you are definitely infected with spyware.
run spyware blaster, it isnt really a scanner or fixer, it helps by not letting certain spyware run to begin with. it blocks spyware before it even enters your system, if its already there it will prevent it from executing

if all this doesnt help grab yourself a do it yourself recovery rescue cd from the good folks at ultimate boot cd for windows...
if this thing cant help you, the best idea is to reformat and start over.
i use this at my shop to fix the problems you are having and charge people 70 bucks for the labor.. take a few minutes to read up on it as its a good read and sooo easy to use.

I would need to know a bit more to give you informed advice, but from what I have read, I would consider the possibility that your firewalls may be conflicting.
I personally found a lot of antispyware arrived With spyware. I run a good Antihack and a good Antivirus utility. To doublecheck my system I run free scans at their competitors sites.
I have antispam and antispyware utilities, I use them occasionally but I do not host them on my system.
Lean, clean, mean.

WinAntivirus pop ups are often caused by a Trojan Vundo infection. Most general-purpose anti-virus programs have trouble removing it.
Look at these links for information and a free VundoFix removal tool:

hi, i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. which is most powerful in popup blocking.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

Virus scan:
McAffee Virus Scan (TOTALLY worth paying for)
Spyware scan:
Spybot: Search and Destroy
Adware scan:
AdAware (note the spelling)
Browser hijacks:
HijackThis! (BE CAREFUL WHEN USING, AS YOU CAN DO MORE DAMAGE TO YOUR SYSTEM THAN THE PROGRAM HIJACKING YOUR BROWSER WOULD)
