I wonder why so many people ask questions that could easily be answered by going to Yahoo online dictionary or Wikipedia or just typing a key word into any good search engine.

they do it because they are young, and pretty much don't have a life. Somebody actualy answering their questions adds some insignificant twist of joy to there otherwise drab existence.

I think they're missing the point which is to offer answers according to what you do & don't fully understand. They're trying to give comprehensive information without actually admitting what they know or don't.
Personally, I'd rather have a solid answer of 'I don't know, but here's what I *think*, than anything I could easily look up myself by using any search engine.

I don't know why for sure. But I find the best way to deal with them is to not answer at all and save my efforts for legitimate questions.

I THINK THEY JUST NEED SOME BODY TO HELP OUT THEY MAY NOT HAVE TIME SO THEY COME HERE FOR THE ANSWERS OR MAYBE THEY CAN FIND BETTER INFO HERE THAT THEY WE'RE NOT ABLE TO FIND ON THOSE PARTICULAR SITES CHEERS!!

well they are atleast asking question to solve their problem.
but thing that pisses me off is WE ARE STUPID ANSWERING THOSE QUESTIONS.
