i no i could just restart my comp but i wanna no how to unlock it for future use

i went to the plus option on my top bars thingy where there is file, edit etc. and i went to lock messenger and now i cant get back on

I'm not sure what you mean by "locked" it. Can you be more specific please?
I think jasmine t's suggestion is about the best thing for you to do. Uninstall Messenger, and then reinstall it.

Hi if you've locked your msn live using the ctrl + space option:
-- The icon is replaced with one that looks like a hard disk with a little network thing under it by default.
See if you can find that to double click it.-- (taken from their webpage)
