2 Days ago i was on the computer and Mcafee Personal Firewall Plus came on saying it blocked an intrusion attempt. I clicked to trace the ip address and it said it was some guy in Amsterdam and gave a name. Later, it popped up again, and this time it traced to Mountain View California and said it was from Google! Why would Google be trying to hack me? Later it did it again but i accidently clicked ok, so i did not get to trace it. Yesterday, i was working, some guy made another attempt. It was somewhere in Asia, i cant remember. Later, it came again and said that it was some Puerto Rico cable service's abuse department. Later still, it came on and said it was Comcast cable. This is strange because before the above incidents, i had never had a hacking attempt before, and suddenly there is a whole bunch. What should i do. Im worried about why people from a company's Abuse department would attempt to hack me, and why Google and Comcast would. Pls give some advice.

I recently had a perfectly functioning powerbook g4 12" apple laptop. About 3 months ago, I purchased a new battery, which ended up being one of the batteries that was recalled. I had noticed the battery was warmer than my old battery, but thought nothing of it. About a week ago, all the sudden, my computer froze (gasp!). This had never happened before, but when I tried to start it up, the computer was dead, and couldn't read the hard drive.

About two days later, the battery recall notice hit the news. I sent for my new battery, which is on the way. Could this logic board failure be the fault of a defective battery? If so, would apple replace it for free?

i have my own domain, webhost and currently in the middle of construction of my website. so, how do i put an icon next to my domain? i have basic knowledge of html/css and a bit of javascript but doesnt know how do the domain icon thingy. does it include any program language, like php, other than html/css/javascript?

He just hate me because I'm #1 on most major search engines and his web site is banned because of link farms and stuff. He's using ugly old design, invalid HTML code and table layout. I'm using valid XHTML and CSS table-less layout. Our graphics designs are completely different... This is his last email:

Does anyone know what the clock tolerance is on routers etc. for 1 Gigabit Ethernet and where can I find it on the internet. I'm referring to the reference clock that runs at 156.25MHz. It should be +/- some PPM. I'm looking to find out what that something is. I'm building a piece of equipment that links to routers and I need to know what the pull-in range needs to be to accomidate all routers. This is 1 GbE, not 10 GbE. Thank you in advance.

I have a database with a connection and a valid result set from a mysql_query call. In PHP the function mysql_fetch_row($resultSet) returns an array of all the elements in one row.

My question is: Where is the function which returns an array of all elements in all rows?

For instance if my query returns 5 rows of a database I want it to pass back in array with 5 objects (each an array of that rows data)
