I asked a question on this site...and the question has been placed on yahoo search and on google as well....How can I delete this topic from those sites..? Please...someone help and advise....Thanks guys....!!!!

If you bid on something on e-bay and a few minutes later you discover that the items will cost over 200 to ship -if you email the seller and ask to cancel your bid will they honour it? Is there anything else I can do if not?

i set two passwords for booting and my user(myself). two of my colleages also aware of booting password. when i tried to switch on my PC,on resumption to duty after 3 days, instead of prompting for booting problem, i noticed the above message below it "press F1 to continue DEL to set up". I set up supervisor password by pressing DEL, still the above message is appearing. please let me know how to fix the problem.

What I was wondering was how could you download firefox using the ftp command in hte command prompt box? A friend told me the following
*ftp 2004.152.184.113
*type "anonymous"
*enter
*"cd_pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.8a1"
*"binary"
*"binary"
*"lcd c:\"
*"get mozilla-win32-1.8a1-installer.exe"

I got stuck on the cd-pub part, at this point I have firefox and it is working and I can get it workinng going thru a folder window using ftp:\\ftp.mozilla.org. I guess it's just because it can be done, that I want to know how its done becouse i'm missing something ^_^

Ok. a friend's site has been on for about 6 mo's already. we've been participating in 2 kinds of LE programs, plus individual link exchange. Submitted it to yahoo dir. and a number of other directories. Constantly have submitted urls to the yahoo, google, msn and other SE's.
Submitted to DMOZ (but hasn't been accepted so far, and no response)
Submitted urls to over 100 SE's, webcrawler, jadye, you name it.

Participated in microsoft small business program. The one that's $40 a year. Submitted to Microsoft small buisness directory.

Verified page tags. titles, keywords, descriptions. The pages have fairly good keyword density. (for the most part are properly coded).

For some specific keywords, the site is still not visible until like the 7th page. on the 4th page in yahoo search the directory listing is visible.

The Q is that a newer site has bumped into like the 4th place. How do i move up the ranking?

The yahoo directory won't update the entry. paid $300.

i know he was stupid, i told him so, anyway just hear me out he got a check from canada, and deposited the check which was $30,000. he cut $3000 out of it the bank held the check then 3 days later, today, he recieved the money. well he got a call from the bank later this afternoon and they said the check was fradulant and he needs to put the money back or there will be a warrent issued out for him. he wired the money to the person and has none left, what should he do? isnt the bank in as much trouble as him? they are the ones who said the check was good? anything to help this poor guy? and has anyone ever had these emails? is there anything we can do about it?

I am selling my computer and i have clicked on tools,Internet options, clear history,deleted the cookies and the files. Afterwards i went to start,settings,control pannel,clicked on internet options,then settings,clicked view files,then Clicked on edit then select all, then i hit delete,afterwards i hit clear history,click delete files and cookies. Is there anyway that people can view the web sites i have viewed with out having to buy any soft ware please give me quick answers because im selling tomorrow thanks.

Why bother having a Switch to Old Page link if the link does not work? I know...you guys are just trying to further piss off the Yahoo customer base. What a great idea. I am a very curious person, I am middle aged, used to teach and LOVE to learn.

To me, my questions are not real personal, and are not meant to find out (extremely) personal info about anyone.

I have deleted two of my questions because I have been personally "attacked" for asking them.

If I was younger I would be a psychologist AND a vet, IF that were even possible.

It took me a long to "get" my true calling( I guess you could say I have two!) but since then, I ask others about them and their pets.

Its just to get a feel for how people think, and interests they have..

So, have you ever been personally attacted for questions that you have asked on here. In other words, the people answering judge YOU and not the question.
