I'm sort of new to using computers.But I have a windows 98 system,2 days ago,I had the "clouds" as my backround screen all of a sudden,they went gray.Now all color is way off,pictures are faded looking,and I get no sound.I did defrag,disk clean up,and ran nortons antivirus.I tried everything I could think of in "help" section.What do I do?

although I set ORA_sid_autostart to true on my oracle 10g server on windows but the database doesn't get started when i restart the related service. I get the ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error, I recreated the service the problem persists. Any ideas?

I would like to be able to click a link and download/save an mp3 and an XML file in one go. I am using an ASP.NET page to generate the mp3, and another page for the XML file. I've been experimenting with window.location.href and window.open, which are fine for one file. Any other ideas?

The Pennsylvania State Police has issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Ridley Township Police Department, Delaware County.



Ridley Township Police are searching for a white, non-hispanic female age 15-16 years old, 5'8" tall, thin build, dark straight collar-length hair, with a bloodied face, wearing a white midriff shirt, short black leather skirt and flip-flops. She was abducted and forced into a white color late 70's or early 80's panel van, possibly Ford Econoline, with 12" letters "Hell Raider" spray painted in red on the driver side. The actor is the driver of the van, who is described as a white non-hispanic male, age in the early 40's, 5'10" tall, 140 lbs thin build, short straight red hair and full red beard and mustache, wearing a blue jean jacket and blue jeans. The van had an additional unknown person in the front passenger seat. The van was last seen at 6:00 a.m. heading north on Fernwood Avenue, toward 4th Avenue, from the 300 block of Fernwood Avenue.



Anyone with information about the abduction should immediately contact the police by calling 911.



Affected Counties: Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Bucks, Northhampton, Lehigh, Berks, Lancaster.

I need to be very discrete with this course i have some programs i dont want to be erased, i understand if i boot with XP and select option one it will inform me if i want to reinstall XP i should press enter, i just want to be sure that that wouldnt erase any data or settings. If were to have enough spare cash (I wish!) to lay fibre optic cable (Gigabit and above capable) from my home to my local BT exchange would they allow me to connect it to the 21CN backbone (remember I have lots of money supposedly to pay fees to them)? What if I volunteered to fibre up my whole street?

I also know that pretty much no data will ever come in that fast due to constrictions elsewhere but we can fantasize.

I'm confused. I am able to write many times onto my CD-R, but I thought you can only write once to this type?

I need to know for sure because I am taking it in to kinkos so they can write a file onto my cd-r, and I have to know if thwy will be able to write on it, even though I have files already on it.
