I would like to be able to click a link and download/save an mp3 and an XML file in one go. I am using an ASP.NET page to generate the mp3, and another page for the XML file. I've been experimenting with window.location.href and window.open, which are fine for one file. Any other ideas?

downloading 2 files at once is not a good idea. although with spazzy js you could get it to work, but it may not be cross-broswser friendly!

combining them into a zip would be nice.

The mp3 format provides for data blocks to identify the music... the best bet is to combine the xml info directly into the mp3.

If you are okay with using JavaScript, then its a simple case of opening two windows, and set the url of the first window to the mp3 file, and of the second to the xml file.

Try www.hotscripts.com, www.w3schools.com they might have something there that could help.
