i am having problems in re-installing windows xp pro sp2 on my dell computer. the thing is i wnat to completely format my computers hard drive, howeveram having problems in doing so with my disc (which is genuine). normally i would insert the disc in the cd-drive and restart and would go through the simple process. however in this case this does not seem to work. any help please...

I don't get it! If I can do a web search why can't you kids and some adults do it? For those who don't know how...just type the word or phrase you are looking for in your address box and hit go or type in google and then put the word in that search box! Simple and you might learn something. Don't be so lazy!

The 'internet explorer' start up was inadvertently removed from the lower left task bar (yes, I am an idiot!) and was put on the desktop as a shortcut.....please help me put it back, I have right clicked on the shortcut and there is no option to replace it where it originated from. Everytime i go to my hotmail account, after signing in, it wont stay there. It redirects me to "rad.msn.com" in a search engine in yahoo. I have no idea whats going on. I have ran sweeps, used my mcafee and still it continues to do it. Also, When my msn today comes up and i have new msgs i can click on them and it will take me directly to my msgs and it wont do it. IF anyone has any idea whats goin on i sure could use the info. Thanks!

Before I reformat my hard drive, I copied/saved all my outlook express dbx folders into my memory stick. After reformatting, I tried to import the folders back into outlook express but failed. It could not locate those folders no matter where I put them, even where folder is supposed to be stored. (C:\Documents and Settings\Felix K\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{C749446B-0623-45F7-891A-E2D5AD3DBF93}\Microsoft\Outlook Express) But all the dbx folders just can't be detected at all. Help is very much appreciated.
