This answer is if you are using Internet Explorer. You want to delete your cookies. In your IE browser, click on tools then internet options. There should be a button labeled "delete cookies." You can also delete files and clear history. That will clear websites from the address bar. As far as web search bars, those are usually installed with some other software. So, click on your start menu, then go to control panel, or settings then control panel. Double-click on add/remove software. The web search bar should be on the list, so just remove that. Sometimes they won't show up. If that's the case, try this in Internet Explorer. Right click in the area right above the web address bar. It should give you some options with checkmarks next to them. See if your web search bar is one of them and make it unchecked by clicking on it. If that doesn't work either, you might have to look into what software you downloaded that that web search bar could've some with and try uninstalling it.

You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.

You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok.

To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok.
It will solve your all search related problems.

Use the clear history and clear all on auto complete as well. Go to tools, internet options and content.

Click edit then scroll down to clear toolbar history click on that and answer yes. Dont worry i get stuck wit technical probs too
