I recently had a bout with some spyware that was a particular pain. There were tcp ports being scanned and somehow mirc had been downloaded. (I've heard of it but don't use it). There were some very odd things about it. Like it did not have a sys tray icon nor was it in any other menus and the folder containing mirc.exe was something like DCFSOFKSLJMDSURKJSLFJESREDYUPDKMTGLODSDSKITRWRFTRPDFYOHGVLTG ... if you get the picture. So I'm wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else and is there a way to ensure that my system is clean?

I want to be able to left click a link and the save as box pops up. I dont want to half to right click a link and "save target as" . Ide like my .PDF on my website to be able to be saved upon clicking the link and not open on the web. Basically making it easy for someone not internet savy to save the file on their desktop. I reciently downloaded a hardcopy of "Windows Live One Care"..and since..it has shut down completely. I cannot open it without recieving the gray window that informs me that it has to close and to send Microsoft a report. Thats ALL it does now. Worse..I cannot remove it. i have gone to "Add/delete programs..and I get the SAME gray screen when i try to delete it
Worse still..it is on RED warning..which means anti-virus updates arent being delivered and installed.
I want to delete the program and reinstall..does anyone know a backdoor way to do that?? Delete it.....and remember..I know what Im doing on a computer!! And does anyone know why it shut me out??

I need COMPLETE directions to do this.....Help!!

I want to fit about 800 songs onto a cd-rw 700mb disc
i dont need to be able to play the songs. i have them all on my ipod, but ive had some trouble with ipods before and dont want to lose all my music. i dont want to use up a lot of memory on my computer either by keeping all the songs. so i would just like to store all the music on a disc...is there any program i can used to do it? i tried putting the music on as files and couldn't fit them all on that way either
