I recently downloaded Incredimail and soon had to uninstall it because Mcafee wouldn't work with it in my computer. Is it possible to get a virus using Incredimail?

A virus is a program designed to harm your file system integrity. A program does not cause a virus. Sometimes programs are secretly installed without your permission. This is called "malware" and is usually spyware or adware.

yes but add-ons are not always viruses and even if you scan they will not show up ( some programs are bad about catching malicious software - Norton for one ) when you install a program you also install these add ons
