I need to transfer rather large files from one computer to the other, only one has internet so I cant send it over the internet. I hear I can use an ethernet cable to connect the two computers and transfer the files. Once I connect the computers how do I transfer the files?

I am pretty sure my computer has the right sys req for the game. I was able to download the game but whenever I try to start playing the game a small window that says " Drive Read Error" pops up. It tells me to insert the disk for the game into my computer but I have already done that. I can either click retry or cancel. But clicking retry only causes the box to come up again. What can I do? I do own the actual cd for downloading and playing the game.

I just spend 80 dollars for symmetic Internet security and system works which includes a firewall, antivirus, spyware/adware protection, spam blocker, Norton clean up, etc. I also set it on a timer which fragments, scans for viruses and other security risks, deletes all cache and temporary files, etc every night when I don’t use the computer.

Since last night, whenever i start my computer, it turns on and does the whole loading thing, then it gets a blue screen with:

Stop: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon system terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x00000080 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has shut down.

Help would be apreciated.

jobyjo68 leaves quite a number of offline messages on my yahoo messenger. I have ignored him each time, even reported him as spam and blocked him but he still keeps popping up. When I checked out his profile it was empty, (probably as empty as his head!), except for the fact that he is into extra marital affairs. I don't want my husband to get the wrong message if he accidentally gets online and those offline messages on my yahoo pop-up! I do not give my husband any reason to get jealous but this jobyjo68 could spark a disaggreement that could turn into not very nice things. Tell me how I can get rid of him.

Ok, I'm moderately experienced with CSS, but so far I've mostly used it to control the formatting of text and elements across my site, and I just started using it for positioning.

I need CSS positioning/layout to place a footer at the bottom of
http://montanalightphotography.com/landscapes.php

So far my main content area has these CSS properties:

width: 675px;

margin-left: 170px;

margin-bottom: 75px;

position: absolute;

top: 172px;

background-color: lightyellow;

border: 1px dashed gray;

padding: 0px 0px 0x 8px;

What CSS properties/values do I need to have a footer DIV appear, say 30 pixels below the above DIV?

I am using a satilite connection and downloading songs/videos on LimeWire. For some reason the downloads are going SUPER slow. Does anyone know of anyway to increase the download time? Do I need to configure something a certain way under options? If someone could give me simple step-by-step instructions it would be great. Thanks!

Just got a new Dell, but want Microsoft Word on it. I have it on two other computers, but can't find the Microsoft disk. If I take it to a computer shop, can they transfer it, or is the disk a necessity. I can find every other disk that goes with Microsoft Professional, like the media disk, but not the Word one. Just my luck!
