I have a virus like liscence I accidentally got on my PC and I cant find where to go on my PC to get to my liscences to delete it! If someone can guide me to the liscence page on a Windows XP interface that would be great.

I had to download my pics to a cd. When I add them back into my computer ,the files show up as the name of file,ex: 980012,ending with $@. ex: 980012$@. and cannot be viewed.How can I convert to view the pictures?

I have bought a PC at an auction...it tests fine...and it came with WIN XP PRO licence stuck to the side of the case. What does this entitle me to...can I use that licence on another copy of xp ro??

Here's a rather tough one(at least for me) :
I have Windows XP installed and found a super OS recently,Kororaa XGL.
The thing is,how can I install both of them on the same hard drive?
I want to keep Windows and run Kororaa too.
I've seen on some people's computers than when they start up,they can make the selection of whether to choose Windows or Fedora in the next 5 seconds.
I would want to do something similar.
Can you please help me?

I've uninstalled the toolbar 4 times as the mail symbol was missing,then reinstalled it,but the mail symbol just does not show,i have just done it again and still it's missing,i have shut down and restarted each time,please can anyone tell me why,many thanks Kathy

i'm going to put some more RAM in my dad's PC coz he's just discovered the internet (yeh well he's old!). He's got one stick of 128MB, PC133 SDRAM already, i was going to put a 512MB stick in aswell coz they're pretty cheap now. I'll get the same speed but will it be ok having two different sizes and manufacturers or will it be a bit unstable? its my first pc upgrade so any other tips welcome.

I sent an email to someone in another country. That person replied me with an email too. I deleted by mistake the copy of the email I had sent him I now need desperately to prove what I sad in that deleted email to someone else. my computer crashed and i had to restore system (Windows ME). Since then I cannot find the driver I need for my network card. My friend sold me the computer and she can't find the disk that came with the network card. I can't find the driver on the windows disks and i can't connect to the internet without the driver. Can someone please help me? PLEASE!!!! All I know about the modem is that it is listed as CONEXANT PCI ETHERNET 56K ITU V.90 PCI FAX/MODEM. I called the company who made the computer (EMACHINES) and they told me that I have to have the disk that came with the network card but I don't have the disk so what else can I do to recover the driver?
