I have a virus like liscence I accidentally got on my PC and I cant find where to go on my PC to get to my liscences to delete it! If someone can guide me to the liscence page on a Windows XP interface that would be great.

Heres whats happening:

Internet does not open on 1 double click, it takes 2 separate double clicks which opens 2 pages at the same time

Itunes cant access the music store. Whenever it tries it either freezes or shuts it self off with no warning

Aim Triton cant get past the validating stage

Pages on the internet load much slower than they did say a week ago.

I would suspect a virus of doing this except that ive run about 10 full system virus scans on my PC with Norton AntiVirus (which includes a full system spyware scan, and i would imagine an adware scan). Plus these problems started when i chose to cancel the liscence aquiration that poped up from some crap website that i was a choice on google. I selected cancel but it installed it anyway. I chose not to back up and now everytime i go on the PC (which is Windows XP) it says something like "Backup.something failed to initilize, ok to terminate?" So i suspect the liscence. So can someone tell me how to remove them?

Some viruses are pretty damned pesky.
I had one and every time I tracked it, before I could remove it, it moved to a different directory.

This happened about 7-8 times. I finally had to find a tech.

Many move from one directory to another each time the PC is turned on.

"Virus like license"??? I tend to believe that you have a run of the mill virus, but there appears to be no such thing as a "virus like license". You need to provide more details.

im thinking u really dont want to get rid of a liscence.....run your anti-virus program ...u want to take out the virus....and if the program u used to scan wants a lis. key that means u have to pay for the program ...get AVG it is a free anti-virus program ...here is where u can get it http://www.grisoft.com/doc/289/lng/us/tpl/tpl01
