I can be sitting there staring at the screen and not doing anything but all of a sudden my firewall gives me an alert that says "outgoing access denied" along with some other stuff like port and source. What does it all mean? Am I being hacked or something?

Alot of people say they use a scanner for trading cards. But I have more than cards I want to sell. I want to sell alot of things around this house, like VHS tapes, DVD's, car amplifiers, clothes. So which would be the best investment? A scanner or camera?

What is the best way to make home DVD's from my DV camcorder?


I was wondering what would be the best way to capture, edit, and convert my videos that I capture from my Sony DV camcorder. The .avi files are extremely large and I need to somehow reduce the size so that I do not lose too much quality and also convert them so they can be played on my home DVD player.

I have genuine microsoft windows verified several times when I downloaded software from microsoft windows. I do not know what happened after I downloaded an update for service pack and restarted my computer I could no longer download software for genuine windows and a message says I downloaded the microsoft windows through a pirated CD. Any idea out there?

I was given this HP 6355 to fix up for my daughter. It is an older machine & had two very small hard drives..one 1 GB & the other 1.4 GB..The computer had Windows 98 on it & I bought the Windows XP upgrade. I installed it & it worked fine, then it told me one of the hard drives was bad & to replace it. I had just recently bought a new hard drive for my own computer so I put my old one in the HP..As soon as I did that I turned it on & it told me that no operating system could be found...I put the Windows XP cd in & then it said it was checking my hardware configuration, then it went straight to an error code..it said file\i386\biosinfo.inf could not be loaded error code 27136 press any key to exit..I tried pressing a key & it does nothing.. thats it, it does not go past there. I do not know what to do...Please any help..

From my understanding, AGP is out and PCI-Express Card is in... however, my motherboard onli support AGP. Yet I still do not wan to change the whole pc... juz like to upgrade the card to better one. Now using Geforce 6600GT.
