The folder options menu disappeared when I removed this virus from my startup.
You see the virus I am telling you about restarts my computer everytimr I attempt to open the command from windows or msconfig or open the folder option
But I was able to remove it by opening in safemode and removing it from my startup...but the consequence was that I lost the 'folder options' from my tools menu

I've had Limewire forever and it has always worked fine, but recently every time I try to download a song it says "Need More Sources." No matter what song or artist or how many people have it. Even really popular songs are giving me the error message. My stuff is constantly being uploaded by other users, but I can't download anything. I've uninstalled it and removed it from my system twice, but nothing has worked. Any advice? Thanks so much!

I have a "notifier" that pops up every hour and I have to go through the task manager to stop it. It a reminder that tells me my three day trail has expired and it keeps tring to make me pay. I don't even know what the its for its like a movie website that I never went too. I found it in the add/remove programs, but to remove it, it redirects me to a webpage that "cannot be opened". So since that won't work is their anything I can do to get it off my computer?

My brother recently bought a laptop, and my family has a family computer in the basement. He also bought a wireless router. I hope I spelt that right! Anyway, the computer is up and running, but any idea how to secure the network? The main computer, the one in the basement, is a Hewlett Packer from 2003, and this laptop is Tobisha. I thought I would post this question, then look on the CD installed on the main computer. Please keep our network safe!!!

i have a dell laptop. with XP i bought an add-on firewire card. it installed just fine. it worked and then i tookit out one night and the next morning when i put it back in it didnt work. any help would be great. thanks

My wife is from the Philippines, and we are trying to keep in touch with her relatives. One of them has an address under Yahoo Philippines. Unfortunately, they are not yet very computer-literate. And there is, of course, a language barrier. We want to be able to email back and forth, and ultimately to use Yahoo Messenger for realtime chats. I encountered another obstacle when my messages were returned as undeliverable. There's probably something really obvious that I am overlooking, as I hear that other people do it all the time. Thank you in advance for any insight you can shed on this matter.
