Why don't you try looking in the user's manual that came with the computer? Or, if you're smart, you can take the RAM in your computer out and bring it to a store and ask what kind of RAM you need. OR got to the manufacturers website to find out.

well most computer come with ddr ram and sdram ddr ram has one notch and sdram has two notchs u can go to your computer web site or if u have a manual u will see what kind of ram u got and what the max u can install like 512 if u got the ram got to a computer store and they can get u the ram u can run one stick or many if the motherboard has slots for ram most computer has only two if new one ...good luck

first thing u do, is check ur manual of u motherboard or the cd that comes with it, from here u will know what kind of ram u need. if u dont have the manual or cd then check from the website of ur motherboard u must check first the name of the manufacturer of ur motherboard b4 checking from the internet.
