is your uncle your legal guardian? if so, he can do whatever he wants
if not, there's nothing he can do if it's your computer

Not to cause any panic, you're all wrong. It IS possible. There's this thing called VNC (google it if you want to know all about it), and it basically lets you remotely take control of a computer that is running the server application.

I was just saying that it IS *possible*. he'd have to install the server program on your computer but he'd only have to be alone with your computer for about 5 minutes max. But he's probably just pulling your leg and making you all nervous. The real question though is... are you doing anything that you wouldn't want him to know about, eh? :) just playin with ya =P

But to back up what everyone else her was saying, If your uncle knows your password to your Windows XP profile then he can check your internet history and cache, but that's only if he can get onto your computer.

Sweetie, you need to tell your parents about what your uncle said right away.

Do you live with your uncle? If not, don't let him near your computer (he must install some hardware and software onto YOUR computer in order to see you through it).

You're uncle isn't full of crap like people above me say....
It is very easy....
But he have to do it with a Trojan or a program like LogMein...
Also possible is that when he is sitting behind you're computer he can send a message to his own computer were you're asking for help.... When he's getting home and goes behind his computer he accepts you're asking for help and he will get connected to your computer....
If he puts a Trojan on your computer it's easy to get rid of it...
A good virus scanner easy finds one and deletes it...
Then there are programs like LogMein but for that things you have to sit behind the computer were you later want to get on....

Probably your uncle is just try to freak you out but if not....
Don't be scared.... A good virus scanner probably is enough;)
