Every time I try to go on the computer, it stays on for about 10-15 minutes, then it says logging off and shuts down. I check for spyware, but none found. After it automaticaly shuts down about 2 times, I try to turn it on, but it wont start. The light with the picture of a battery under it on the front of the processor isn't lighting up anymore. I have a Compaq Presario 6000. How can I fix this problem?

things like Surfsidekick and Bookedspace are on there and I don't know what to do. I've run my Microsoft Antispyware (garbage) and something called Defence, but I didn't finish with that cause I thought it might cause more harm. Please help me somebody.

An earlier questions I had was : Why is my computer slow?? Thanks for the answers people. Apparantly My computer (HP pavillion dv1000) doesn't have enough RAM it takes about 512mb to operate windows XP properly. IS THIS SOME KIND OF A JOKE !!!! 480MB!! I can see the tag to specify which of the sidebar items shows up on the main or archive page, but none of it shows up on the permalink pages-- the sidebar is blank. Can anyone help? Thanks

We have Babel fish; we have voice recog.; we have cochlear implants; we have wireless; we have global coverage on real time chat rooms. We have restoration of sight through the use of chips placed in the optic nerve.

My Thought is that if all of these technologies were integrated, I would be able to have a chat with anyone in any language across say a conference room. They would speak into a mike. in their own tongue: this would then be converted to text. Next translated into my tongue (still in text), then converted to artificial speech in my language (Steven Hawking style) and transmitted into my ear. Plus the video possibilities

My reply to that person would be by the same route but in reverse.

1) Is this feasible?

2) Anyone think it would be of any use?

3) Anyone aware of any scheme to develop such a system?
