sg ram means Synchronous Graphic RAM, but this isn't compatible with ddr.

there is SDR or single data rate ram, and DDR or double(dual) data rate ram. they are not interchangeable as they have different pin configurations. I have, in the past 9 years of working on computers, never heard or seen sg ram.

It won't fit. double data rate ram has a transaction on the rising and falling edge of the clock cycle. If you have 200 mhz ram it will work like 400mhz of the regular sd ram.

Only the correct RAM module will fit in the proper slot.
