I think Myspace is completely pointless. It is jst like yor ow website, but people can get better than a MySpace. It is in my opinion really retarded and gay!

^ Agreed. MySpace has some decent looking sites for what you can do with it, but mostly it's a collection of some of the most hideous sites on the Internet.
On a side note, I used to think it was a horrible investment because the primary demographic is 12-17 year olds, but then I realized that their parents buy them whatever they want. Still, how long can the MySpace craze last? Most things like this are fabs with teenagers and soon enough it will not be so cool to have a myspace account. "MySpace is sooooo 2006".
Seems like a risky investment of half a billion, but what do I know.

I think MySpace is ok. I agree with you on how it's basically a mini-website and that it is possible to create a website that is much better than MySpace.
The only thing that I hate about MySpace is the fact that the vast majority of users on MySpace use un-optimised HTML/CSS code when it comes to modifying their own profiles, which will usually lag any modern browser that's trying to view the profile.

Does it give you some sense of power, ego boosting or self-respect for you to come on this site an put down the people that use MySpace.
You post this and then get all kind of low self-esteemed people answering to justify their use of MySpace. This is not going to get you very far in life.

Your choice of adjectives is really asinine, but I completely agree with you! I thought only little teeny boppers and pedophiles did the MySpace thing! I mean, come on, it's there so desperate asssholes can try to get laid and severely lonely people have someone to talk to!

Yep. It's about as hackable as hotmail. I HATE it but.....all my friends use it so i have to that way i'm able to talk to them when they're not using a messenger or email.
