Ive lost a DLL file, Ive downloaded it online, the files name is
Msvbvm60.dll
I just dint know where to put it. If you can scan your computer, find it and tell me where it is youll be a huge help because I cant lauch some applications without it. Use advanced search options and check the boxes saying "search system folders, and hidden files and folders."

My keyboard is messing up.When I push the caps lock button it makes letters lowercase and when I turn caps lock off it makes letters uppercase. What is wrong with it and how can I fix it?

First, I'm trying to get 'Yahoo' off of my home screen! I'm trying to see my screen saver and this 'Yahoo Home Page' thing is covering it up and I can't get rid of it! Second, My computer screen keeps shutting down! Sometimes, I'll be typing away on answers and right before I get to the end of a question or statement this 'Error Report' comes and the screen slowly scrolls away, from top to bottom and I lose everthing! This happens like every five minutes or so! Can I fix this?I'm not a computer genious. Can someone help me? Please?

I am installing xp SP2. It gets to the point where it detects how many harddrives. then it searches for previous versions of windows. it takes a long time to do that. it freezes when you pick what partition on what harddrive to install on. anything i can do? help would be appreciated

I am running two p.c's from one modem which is a D-link DSL-502T (broadband). I have moved my older P.C (8 years old) to a room directly above the other P.C(2 years old) and modem.The extension cable I am using is a USB V2.0. I cannot get the internet connection on the older p.c in the above room.. The line I have between the two rooms is blue cable. Is it possible to run the older p.c through the blue cable or do I need another line? If so what kind of line would I use? The distance is 15metres or approx 35 feet.

Seems to me like it is much more difficult to copy to CD Roms disks than it was to copy to floppy disks. Now computers don't even use Floppies anymore. Before, all I had to do was right click and click copy to "a" drive. Now I have to do other stuff to copy to a Cd, and then, if I want to add mre later, it won't accept it. Wish my computer had a floppy drive .

My subdomain has about 30,000 pages that I would like to get credit for in the search engines. The issue is that the subdomain has a different IP address than the domain. Will the major search engines look down on a site that tries to incorporate the 30,000 pages with a different IP address. We have done very well in getting page rank and don't want to screw it up.

we are two groups and we share the same webhost for our thesis

the thing is we already passed our thesis and the new batch doing thesis (same with us "web development") is using our files to integrate with theirs?! how can i tell them to stop doing it without offending them?!
