Seems to me like it is much more difficult to copy to CD Roms disks than it was to copy to floppy disks. Now computers don't even use Floppies anymore. Before, all I had to do was right click and click copy to "a" drive. Now I have to do other stuff to copy to a Cd, and then, if I want to add mre later, it won't accept it. Wish my computer had a floppy drive .

You're mistaken my friend. With the right software, copying CD's is really easy. it's just not built-into windows yet, like the disk copying was. With nero, it's a 3 click process. It might take longer because CD's have a larger capacity, but it's still no harder than copying a floppy.

s my dear friend. You are right.

But what about the compatibility. It's the CD. Though you take much time to copy files to a CD. The CD lasts longer than a Floppy. A floppy crashes more than a CD. Our datas lasts much longer than the Floppy.

Hope I answered the question ;-)

yeah, but a floppy can't hold much. a CD-R can hold around 500 floppies

If you need something portable, easily readable and writable, try a USB flash drive (also called a memory stick). They can hold even more than a CD these days and much easier to manipulate. Plus they're small and fit in ur pocket (u can even fit 3 or 4 in ur pocket!)

Only use CDs and DVDs for more permanent data (like music or movies)

you are going to wish a working laptop or computing gadget with a floppy stress to ascertain the disk and a CD burner. There are USB floppy drives on the industry ($25) yet for a one time use it makes extra experience to discover somebody particularly much less on the slicing component that can burn them to disk for you,

I do agree... It was much easier.

You can get a USB floppy drive:

OR I use a USB flash "key" drive instead of CDs ( they come in different capacities):
