how long is that id inactive?
if not so long, just try forgot password options!

is it inactive enough, try recreating the id again.

Forgot password needs you to specify the exact details in your profile like date of birth, country location, secret question and answer. and let your alternate email id(if it was specified while creating this id) be active,
