i have a new computer and want to put my music back from my opod to my computer .

My computer is of 3.00 Ghz & 228 MB of RAM & 80 GB of memory.& the present memory usage is just 24 GB.i have norton 2006 istalled which has expired.plz advice.will reinstalling the windows xp work?for better cooling also i have installed 2 fans for the cpu.

i have had to uninstall windows defender from my wifes p.c as it was stopping the internet connection,and when i looked in the program it said "a new version is avalible"
i went to download it ,but it wouldnt work,so i uninstalled it and everything is fine.i had this problem once before with windows defender,so what i need to know she has avast anti-virus,spybot ,and adaware(plus sp2 and yahoo toolbar),will this be enough security for her p.c,i think it should but what do you folks think ?

We were married for
eleven years with only a child named Andrew Monizo
Benham .Before his death we were both christians though we are not

but only made perfect through his grace,Since his death I decided not

re-marry to another Man because of my son Andrew.When my late husband

alive he deposited the sum of $10.1Million (Ten Million One hundred
thousand
U.S.Dollars) with a Security Company in Benin Republic West
Africa.Presently,this money is still with the firm and the management

wrote me as the beneficiary to come forward to receive the trunk box of
money or rather issue a letter of authorisation to somebody to receive
it on
my
behalf because i was admitted in hospital for my oesophageal cancer due

my sickness i can not come over.
And Presently, I'm in a hospital with my child andrew where I have been
undergoing treatment for oesophageal cancer.I have since lost my
ability to

Can a HP nc6220 laptop handle the following widescreen resolutions:
1680 x 1050
1440 x 900

These 2 resolutions are currently not listed in the display settings, but will the laptop automatically recognise these settings once a monitor (with this available resolutions) has been plugged in?

My previous experience isn't technical. I worked at an A&W restaurant, and then at Wal-Mart. So this is my first actual tech job. I was certified this year, on June 3rd. That's not to say that I didn't have any past experience with computers in that degree, but I just needed it to be official, before I went job hunting. The place I am applying at is small, so I don't want to ask for to much or get paid to little. And this is what I was receiving as pay at the other places I mentioned:

A&W-$6.00, after a years work (no raise)
Wal-Mart-$6.65, Temporary employee

I have a 3220 phone. I have never dropped it on the floor. but i am wondering why i can't hear it ringing. no sounds are ever heard from my phone and it's not even in sillent mode. it's lights are ok, it can vibrate too. but it's just that i can'thear anything at all!!!

I have 256 MB DDR 2 RAM 400Mhz 240 pins (PC2-3200) installed on my desktop which has 915 GV intel motherboard, P4 3.0 Ghz with H.T, 800 Mhz FSB with XP pro o/s.
I know the mother board of this configs can hold upto 2 GB RAM. But I use only Photoshop 7 & coreldraw 11 (both occasionally!). 90% time I ONLY use internet. I don't play any games etc. I am planning to install identical ram of 256 MB, increasing the memory to 512 MB. What you guys suggest, is it enough for me ?

I have DSL through my phone line. I operate using Windows XP. My service provider ISP number starts with 198. When I lose my internet connection (usually within one hour) I cannot reconnect because my computer has changed my ISP number to start with 255. The only thing that I know to do is to restart my computer, which works but is a major pain in the rear. WHY does my computer do this and what PRECISE steps can I take to fix this problem?

When starting up the screen is normal, then all of a sudden it changes at the bottom of the screen into a frosted appearance with vertical lines similar to a bar code. You cant see the task bar but when the cursor is behind it the lines move in line with the cursor. ?

It seems the moment someone comes up with anything slightly new, they patent it and say no-one else has the right to try it too. Is that really their property to be the only one to own the right to do till the end of time? Imagine how many everyday inventions would be purchasable or makable only by given rights such as the wheel, the light bulb, electricity, what kind of restricted world would we live in today if it had always been this exclusive with their rights?
