I thought I knew what I was doing. I have a domain name, hosted with godaddy.com. I am working on a Windows computer. I want a site that, similiar to a blog, I can simply update on the web instead of having to upload files to the server. I want to keep my domain name and hosting. I looked at Word Press and think it would be perfect for what I need, but I can't get it to work with Godaddy for the life of me. I tried using dreamweaver, and I can do the html but when it comes to php and mysql i have no idea what i'm doing, but apparently that is what you need in order to have a website with the conveniences of a blog set-up. Please help!!! Thank you!!!

What I mean by online confession boards is this: Anonymous users go to a website and enter their 'dirty little secret'. All the 'dirty little secrets' are displayed on the website. The phrase 'dirty little secret' comes from The All-American Rejects song "Dirty Little Secret". Thanks!

I need to buy a PC (and laptop too). But I do not want any software installed on that PC, even the OS, since I have all the softwares I need. Is there anyplace I can buy like that? I mean, I need to buy hardwares, not softwares. Why do I need to pay more for the things I've already had?

I have windows 98 and Word 7. I had my Word story on my desktop for easy access. I wanted others not to see it. I rightclicked it, selected properties, then "hidden".
I have been using it from the recently used file list in Word, but now it's not in that list, and "Find" commands don't turn it up! It's not in the Recycle bin either... I really don't want to lose it. Ideas?

There are so many models of the Pentium D and AMD dual core processor out there....and most all are too pricey for me.

Let's just hope the price will soon drop. I'm told they will in July 2006. We'll just have to wait and see.

If I had no more than $200 to spend on a processor (and I only want a dual core processor) which one can I get?

If you quote a price from a particular website, please provide a link to that site.

Other than price (and this is a major factor for me), what factors should be considered?

I'm starting from scratch so there are no constraints on the processor right now. In other words, I'll match the mobo with the processor.....not the other way around.

I let's say I have 2 to 3 months to buy everything I need to build the computer.

I'll be using the computer primarily to convert analog video to digital video.

NO GAMING GOING ON HERE....unless I change a lot.

I have some psychic ability yeah, really, I can sometimes see the future in my dreams, sometime ago I dram that their was a war going on or something like that on mars millions of years ago, people running around looking for a space shuttle to leave the planet, I was there looking around at stuff and saw labs, computers, There planet was been destroyed I didn't see by what but it was, so wut if we humans actually did come from mars, huh, imagine if this were to happen again where would we go, our ancestors were lucky they had a nearby planet able to support life, but wut do we have! The Battery has never held a charge for longer than 15 mintues and I actually had to remove the batter for the computer to even run last week. Now the computer shuts off in the middle of anything you do. Sometimes it will start back up and other times it wont for a couple hours or sometimes days. Any ideas or suggestions as to what the heck is going on here with it?
