Probably in conjuction with a "DSL/Broadband" plan from someone like verizon or a a local cable company - Verizon provide a free wireless modem with a one year service contract.

They are all basically the same. Look for the features you want at the best price you can find, and buy it. Personally I have a DLink I got at Walmart.

Linksys is simple to set up and easy to run. it is not much more expensive than the cheapest brand. i got mine at Staples, but they are all over. Read the directions first, though.

sbc is what i have and from personal experince it rocks i have three laptops in the house and they all get the net perfectly and my sister who comes in every now and then has no problem connecting to our service
