It did not look like a laptop or a desktop or a PDA. It was small, but large enough that it had a keyboard -- almost looked like a toy computer, but it was being marketed to people who only needed email and didn't care about doing anything else (Internet, Word, Excel, etc.)

So I want to buy the MacBook, and I'm using it for college (papers, photos, music, INTERNET!)..

What is the difference between the 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo and the 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo? Does this mean one has more memory or it is faster? If so, is it worth the extra price?

Also.. does anyone have either of these notebooks?

What do you think of it? (good and bad)

How long does the battery last?

Are programs loaded and ready to use out of the box, or does the system need to be set-up and installed with a series of CDs?
